District Trivia gives your team a chance to win over $3,000 in cash annually!
What?
All District Trivia venues are part of the Tournament of Champions. At the end of each season, one team will earn the title of Grand Champion and walk home with $1000 cash!
When?
The Tournament of Champions occurs twice a year in Summer and Winter seasons. The Summer season is from April through July with Selection Saturday and the Final taking place in August. The Winter season is from October through January with Selection Saturday and the Final taking place in February. The trivia season runs concurrently with your normal weekly trivia event, so win a week and you are automatically entered for Selection Saturday. All you have to do is show up and play trivia. This also means that we give away $1,000 in cash to the winner TWICE a year!

Because we wanted to provide you another way to win cash and great prizes for loving trivia.
How?
The following steps will lead you to the grand prize!:

Step 1: Win a Nightly Event
Every night at each venue, winning teams get a ticket for the lottery on Selection Saturday. No need to sign-up in advance, just win and you are in. Each ticket for the lottery will give you one entry that could be chosen for a spot in the Tournament of Champions Finals! You can win as many tickets as you can and that will increase your chances of being selected. -
Step 2: Attend Selection Saturday
At the end of the 4 month season, we will hold a massive party at Franklin Hall. We will celebrate the season and choose a winning team from each venue to represent their location at the Tournament of Champions Finals! -
Step 3: Become a Finalist
Every winning team will have their team name entered into the selector as many times as they have won events at a single location. If you win 7 times at Red Bear, your team will have 7 entries into the selector. One team will be chosen from each venue to represent their location at the Tournament! -
Step 4: Win the Final
The Final is a competition between the best of the best teams - they've won events at their venue, they've come out of Selection Saturday as the Chosen Ones. The top scoring team at the Final will become Grand Champion and leave with the $1000 cash prize, the second place earns $400, third place $100, and fourth a robust high-five. There will also be additional prizes awarded throughout the night.
